Just a bonus post and possible future addition to my daily updates, but i wanted to share how i create my mock-ups i show off in these updates, and hopefully make it easier for you all to create your own interesting settings. That being said lets dive in and see how!

Step One - Walls : So to start off with i made the floors wooden to add a more cozy vibe since were doing a bedroom, and instead of just sticking with a boring box room i added some arches on top! Id like to think of these as support arches in the foreground stretching up to the ceiling. Speaking of supports, ive added 2 big pillars in the room, perhaps this room is the chamber of a king/queen, and what better what to make it look extravagent then to add something grand in scale.

Step Two - Background : Pretty simple here, just adding in our background on a layer below the walls, i will say though, i am using different background tile sprites to add variety to the scene, so if you want a tip: the more variety you add to your game settings without overcrowding your scene, the more appealing it'll look!

Step Three - Wall Decorations: Since we've established this bedroom is gonna be a very fancy one, ive added some gold wall mounted candlesticks, as well as some gold trimmed banners, add a painting and some sword, and top it off with a big glass stained window and were about halfway there!

Step Four - Foreground Decorations: Lastly for the foreground stuff, we dont really have TOO much space to add alot since we've already done a good job of filling the scene out so far, but we can still finish up! Kingsized bed (pun intended) fits snug in the corner of the room, leaving just enough space on the right for a dresser, fancy table, as well as some lil decorations on top.
